About Evident
AI that works in your business and demonstrably holds up
Evident is a consultancy that sets up AI on the software already in place, and shows what it does and what it delivers.
What the name means
evidens
Evident comes from the Latin evidens: visible, what shows itself. In English, evidence lies next to it: proof. Those two meanings are the work. AI is set up so that the outcome is visible and the proof lies next to it. Something is only evident when you can point to it.
Mission
Letting organisations work with AI they can trust: set up in weeks on the software already in place, with agreements that hold and a measurement that shows what it delivers.
Vision
AI becomes as ordinary as email. The difference then no longer lies in who uses AI, but in who can show that it holds up: which data goes in, who may do what and what it delivers. Organisations that can demonstrate this get further with their customers, their auditor and their regulator.
Five core values
- DirectEvident says where it stands, in short sentences and without detour.
- SharpThe weak spot is named, also in its own proposal.
- SubstantiatedEvery figure has a source, every claim a piece of evidence.
- EnergeticPace in the work: weeks, not quarters.
- HonestEvident says what it does not do and what it does not know.
From the control profession
Evident comes from governance, risk and compliance: access management, controls and audit. There the question is never only whether something works, but whether it can be shown that it holds up. Evident brings that habit to AI. A small firm that works with the people who do the work, on the software already in place. Who does the work is covered in the first conversation.
Four questions, and the four steps as the answer
Whoever puts AI on real processes gets four questions. Each step answers one.
- Is access to systems and data right?UnderstandAccess and data are mapped before anything changes.
- Does the AI do the work within what has been agreed?Set upAI is set up on one or two processes, with who may do what on record and a log of what happens.
- Do people know how to work with it, and who is responsible for what?EmbedTraining, work instructions and owners embed the choices made in the organisation.
- Can the organisation show this to management, auditor or regulator?Hand overA handover file with the follow-up measurement: the evidence is ready.
